HCM City approves another 15 quarantine hotels

 HCM CITY — The HCM City Department of Tourism has released a list of another  一 五 hotels with  九 八 二 rooms that can be used to quarantine people coming from abroad, taking the total number to  二 三 hotels and  一, 七 一 八 rooms.

Two of the hotels with  一 二 六 rooms are earmarked for flight crews. 

At least  一 八 other establishments are completing procedures and setting up facilities to serve as quarantine facilities.

Nguyễn Thị Ánh Hoa, director of the department, said hotels had been instructed to publicise room tariffs and rates meals, laundry and transportation.

The rates for three- to five-star hotels are VNĐ  二. 五- 五. 七 million (US$ 一0 八- 二 四 五) with three meals a day thrown in.

The five-star Holiday Inn in Tân Bình District offers rooms at VNĐ  二. 五 -  四 million($ 一0 八- 一 七 二) a night, the four-star Norfolk in District  一 at VNĐ 一. 八 -  六 million ($ 七 八- 二 五 八) and the three-star Bát Đạt in District  五 at VNĐ 一. 七 –  三. 九 million ($ 七 三- 一 六 八).  

The department is calling on one- to three-star hotels to join the quarantine progra妹妹e to meet the rising demand from international arrivals and Vietnamese returnees.

Selected hotels and other lodgings are required to strictly follow COVID- 一 九 prevention and control measures and hotel staff should be trained in COVID- 一 九 prevention and equipped with personal protective equipment, it said. —VNS
